AMS Sexual Assault Support Center
The AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre provides services to individuals of all genders who have experienced sexualized or intimate partner violence. Support is also available for the friends and family members of survivors. Services include short-term crisis counselling, safety planning, advocacy and accompaniment, as well as support groups.

Atira Women’s Resource Society
Atira Women’s Resource Society provides safe and supportive housing for women and children affected by violence. The organization is accessible to individuals who identify and live full-time as women and who experience gendered violence and misogyny.
Battered Women's Support Services
Battered Women’s Support Services provides support and advocacy for women who have experienced abuse. Services include free support groups, short-term and crisis counselling, as well as long-term individual counselling. Support is available for women currently experiencing abuse, as well as survivors of childhood sexual abuse or adult sexual assault.

The BC Society of Transition Houses provides a comprehensive list of safe homes and transition houses across British Columbia. While the organization does not offer front-line support services, it serves as an information resource for those seeking safe housing options.
Comox Valley Transition Society
The Comox Valley Transition Society offers free short-term counselling services (typically 8–10 sessions) for women in the Comox Valley and surrounding areas who have experienced or are currently experiencing sexual assault, abuse, or violence. These services are inclusive of all women, including trans women and gender non-binary individuals, regardless of age, ethnicity, abilities, or sexual orientation.
Cowichan Valley Women Against Violence Society
The Cowichan Valley Women Against Violence Society provides free counselling and group support services to women in the Cowichan Valley community who have experienced trauma.
Embrace Clinic
The Embrace Clinic, part of Fraser Health’s Forensic Nursing Service, provides short-term, specialized medical-forensic care and treatment in an outpatient setting. Services are available to individuals of any gender who have experienced recent violence, including sexual assault.
Ending Violence Association of BC
The Ending Violence Association of BC offers information, referrals, justice system support, and liaison services for survivors of sexual assault.

Family Services of Greater Vancouver
Family Services of Greater Vancouver provides professional and compassionate counselling services in Vancouver, Richmond, and New Westminster. SALAL Sexual Violence Support Centre (Formerly WAVAW)
SALAL Sexual Violence Support Centre provides free one-on-one counselling, support groups, victim services, legal advocacy, and other resources for survivors of sexualized violence who experience gender marginalization, including cis and trans women, Two-Spirit, trans, and non-binary individuals. The organization operates a first-of-its-kind Sexual Assault Centre, offering a dedicated space for survivors to heal. Specific services are available for BIPOC, Indigenous, and LGBTQ2S+ communities.
Note: The waitlist for one-on-one counselling can be long, which may feel discouraging. However, if you require low- or no-cost counselling, it is encouraged to put your name on the waitlist while accessing support groups and other available services in the meantime.
